National Letter Writing Week

Did you know that there was a such thing as National Letter Writing Week? Remember when I told you about Sending Cards, well this might be a good time to reread it or just simply remember the last time you got something special in the mail and the joy it brought you.

You could simply send a friend or family member a newspaper or magazine article that made you think of them or send them the seeds of a tomato plant that did good for you last year.

The second week in January, which is the 9th through 16th is the week to write letters. So pick up that pen and put it to paper and brighten someones day.
I am challenging myself to send out five letters, what will you challenge yourself to?

Another cool idea to keep letter writing alive is The Things Unsaid Project, found at www.thingsunsaidproject.wordpress.com. Love this endeavor and think others in a letter writing frame of mind will find it interesting as well.

Keep up the good work!
